“seek”、”search”和”find”这三个英文单字都有「找」的意思，感觉好像是通用的，但其实不尽然喔！Let’s talk的Rachna老师整理出了这3个单字分别的详细定义，并举出例句做说明，快来看看它们的用法有何不同吧！
1. Seek 寻求、寻找
“seek”有寻求的意思，表示寻找的对象并非实体物品。
ex. Are you actively seeking jobs? 你正积极地找工作吗？
ex. I think it’s time we sought legal advice. 我想现在是我们寻求法律咨询的时候了。
ex. The pany is seeking new ways to improve service. 公司正在寻求新的方式来改善服务。
2. Search 搜寻、搜索
“search”有搜索的意思，是指在一个地方彻底地寻找某个物品。
ex. Police searched for clues in the area. *在该地区寻找线索。
ex. He has been searching his key all day. 他一整天都在找他的钥匙。
ex. She searched the Web for rmation about the car. 她在网路上搜寻有关汽车的资讯。
ex. He searched her face, hoping to see some glimmer of emotion. 他在她脸上搜索，希望能看到一些笑意。
3. find 发现
“find”是指发现、感觉到某件事。
ex. I have found a good restaurant near the office. 我在办公室附近找到了一家好餐厅。
ex. I found my glasses under the table. 我在桌子底下找到我的眼镜。
ex. He found great fort in his work. 他在他的工作中找到了很大的安慰。
ex. I often find myself thinking about her. 我经常发觉自己在想她。
