摘要：A speed control system for controlling a vehicle's speed operates by means oflimiting fuel flow to the engine of the vehicle at and above, a predetermined speed. thesystem comprises fuel line means to the engine, a fuel pump feeding the fuel line means,a fuel bypass from the fuel line means which is normally closed and a monitoring meansfor monitoring the speed of the vehicle and for opening the fuel bypass when the vehiclespeed reaches or exceeds the preset speed to bypass the fuel from the fuel line meansand limit fuel flow to the engine. The fuel bypass is provided with automatic pressureregulating valve means adjusted to maintain the amount of fuel flow in the fuel linemeans at all times for engine idling.
