摘要：This invention provides a coating composition that can form a coating film
having an eliminated or reduced photocatalytic action-derived deterioration and can forma coating film having a lowered haze value, has excellent dispersibility and dispersionstability in a coating liquid form, has excellent storage stability, and also has excellentcoatability. The coating composition is characterized by comprising at least the followingfour components (1) to (4): (1) titanium dioxide fine particles with eliminated or reducedphotocatalytic activity which is obtained by surface treating titanium dioxide fine particlesdoped with cobalt capable of capturing free electrons and/or holes, with a zinc chelatecompound capable of capturing free electrons and/or holes, (2) a binder component, (3) adispersant, and (4) an organic solvent.
