一、 单元教学目标:
听:听懂并能摘取本单元涉及的景点的相关信息。
说:拓展和归纳描述日常活动的词汇,学会运用这些词汇对一天的活动安排进行简单描述。
读:掌握一般疑问句的正确语调和“+(e)s”结尾的三种发音。 写:学会在语篇层面上表达喜欢或不喜欢的某种能力,并学会表达喜欢或不喜欢的原因。
二、 单元教学内容:
A、单元主要教学内容
本单元在某种意义上起到了衔接教材的功能,旨在复习一般现在时和人称代词的主格和宾格。 B、单元具体教学内容

1、继续理解一般现在时的各种形式,掌握否定句、疑问句及其肯定和否定回答。

口诀:一般现在时,主语非三单,动词为原形,主语是三单,动词+S.否定和疑问,主语非三单,Do字来帮忙,动词用原形; 主语是三单,Does来帮忙,千万别忘了,动词改原形。
3、准确把握人称代词主格与宾格的对应关系,以及人称代词对名词的正确替换。

1、 Teaching aims
A、To understand the text and know something about Millie’s school life.
B、To master the nouns and verbs to describe the school life using the knowledge you have learned.
2、 Teaching steps
Step 1 Revision
T:What activities do you do every day?
S:I do morning exercises/have lessons/do after-school activities/play badminton/ make model planes/write an e—mail „„„
Then the teacher writes the phrases on the Bb and ask Ss to read together.
(showing a form about Millie’s activities on a school day.)

Ask some pairs to make dialogues like this to revise
the simple present tense.
Step2. Presentation.
1. T: Which school are you in?

S1: I like my school because my school is big and clean. S2: I like my school because I can do many things here. S3: I like my school because I have many good friends here.

5. T: In our school. Is there a library?
S: Yes.
T: What do we do in the school library. S: We read books there.
T: XX likes reading too. He goes to the reading club every Tuesday and Friday. So I can say he goes there twice a week.
Then read the news words and phrases together.
Step3 Exercises
T: Today, we’ll learn Millie’s school life. Let’s listen to the tape and write a “T” if the sentence is true, write an “F” if it is false.

(3)Read the text by yourselves again. Underline the important phrases and sentences.

[用法]“Look forward to ”意为盼望,其中to是介词,后接名词、代词的宾格或动词ing形式。
[举例]1、I am looking forward to a present on my birthday.(我
盼望生日那天有礼物.)

6、Thank you for organizing the class trip.(感谢你们组织这次班级旅游).
[用法]”thank you for doing sth(sth)意为”为„感谢某人”其中for为介词
[举例]1、Thank you for your sister’s help.感谢你姐姐的帮助。
2.Thank you for inviting me to your birthday party.(感谢你邀请我参加你的生日聚会).
[拓展]thank you for也可表达为thanks for „但其中的thanks是名词,且要用复数形。
[举例]1、Thanks for your help.(多谢你们的帮助)

[拓展] It's+adj+(for sb)+to do sth.(对某人来讲)做某事怎么样。 [举例]1、It’s hard to reach the apples on the trees.(够到树上的苹果很难)。
2 It’s important for me to study English well.(学好英语对我来讲很重要)。
8 Some dogs just don’t know how to have fun.(一些狗就是不知道怎样拥有乐趣)
[用法]“have fun”意为“获得乐趣”。 [拓展]have fun doing sth( 做某事有乐趣)
[举例]We have fun learning Enlish.(我们学英语有乐趣)
9、Your mum says we shouldn’t watch too much TV.(你妈妈说我们不应该看太多的电视)
[用法]too much 有修饰不可数名词
[举例]He has too much trouble in his life.(他生活中麻烦太多了)
[拓展]“much too”可修饰副词或形容词,表示“太多了” [举例]1、The question is much too difficult .
2、He eats too much meat. So he is much too fat.(他吃太多的肉,所以他太胖了)
3 You run much too slowly.(你跑得太慢了)
10 Millie goes to the Reading Club twice a week.(Millie一周去两次阅读俱乐部)
[用法]twice意为“两倍、两次”
[拓展]once意为一次,除了“一次”“两次”之外,其他均为“基数词+times”来表示“次、倍”,如three times,三次,four times四次。
[举例]1、I go to the dancing lessons once a day.(我一天上一次舞蹈课)。
2、They go home three times a month.(他们一个月回3次家)
11 We can’t go to„because it is closed on Monday.(我们不能去„因为那儿星期一关门了)
[用法]be closed 意为“关着”,closed 作表语,相当于形容词,反义词为be open(开着)的
[举例] 1“Is the door still open?”“No, it’s closed.“门仍然开着吗?”“不,关着。”
2、I find the door open/closed. 我发现门开/关着。
12 、 We would like to go to Beijing zoo.(我们想去北京动物园)。
[用法]Would like to do sth 意为想要做某事,常用于I’d/We’d /He’d like to do„为委婉、客气的说法。
[举例]1、I’d like to have a rest now.(我现在想要休息一下)
2、We’d like to go to the movies this evening.(今天晚上我们想去看电影了)
[拓展]Would like sb to do sth(希望/想到某人做„”。) [举例]1、We’d like you to go with us.(我们想让你跟我们一起去)。
2、He’d like me to help him with his English.(他想我帮他学英语)
